I think by law they should have disclosed that the interior was soaked, especially in a brand new truck. If the bolts are that rusty, just imagine how rusty some of the wiring under the dash that you can't see might be. At the very least, you need a completely new interior, especially the carpet. You can clean it a thousand times and that thing will always smell moldy/musty, especially in the Florida heat.

They have been ok so far but they are also the one that sold it to me and didn't disclose the prior problem. I think the odor machine that they have is probably Ozone which doesn't work for mold and creates a whole new set of potential problems.

I was thinking the same thing. It would have been nice to know before the purchase. Who drops the back of the rear seats before they buy a brand new truck!
