Thanks! Yes you need to take them apart to do this. As long as it's done right and sealed back up properly nothing to worry about. That's why I had a pro do it

Looks great! I take it you have to find a pair of the first gen LED's that are serviceable so the components can be removed prior to heat applied?

I really wish wish Ford would use the black/gray heads on the sport models from the factory like they did from 11-14. Now they only come with the SE package.

No these were the sealed units. They can be done without hurting the components inside. Does not get hot enough.

good to know! May have to look into this if I end up going with the Lariat.
