Default Rough Country or BDS

I am looking to get a lift kit for a 2015 XLT and am trying to figure out if I should go with RC for $1,200 or BDS for $1,800. Labor is the same for both ($1,000).

While we are at it, 4” or 6”? They cost the same and installation is also the same... I was thinking 4” but not sure if I’ll regret getting a 4” lift after a couple of months.

Cant speak to the BDS ( although I've heard good things about them ) but I've been more then happy with my 6 inch RC lift.

I figured a lot of folks that try a 4" lift end up going back for the extra 2" after a while

if its a spacer lift... I'd buy the RC lift and upgrade the shocks/struts.

This is what it is. With a 5" rear block to replace the OEM block, providing a 4" lift in the rear vs. a 6" lift up front, reducing rake (not eliminating it).

I'm in the same boat, going to put either a 4" BDS or RC lift on my truck in the spring. Just not sure which one, like you said the RC is quite a bit cheaper but I've heard BDS is of better quality and warranty.
