Default Rough country 2.5 fenders flares

Hey everyone. So I live in colorado and tired of the snow and all the crappie flinging up on my beautiful truck. So I ordered rcx 2.5 fender flares. Just did the install my self. Took about 2 hours but it was a breeze. Rough country sends everything with the kit and is pretty dummy proof. Only washed the parts of truck that the fenders flares would cover up.

Before rcx 2.5 flares

I do like my fender flares but now you need to fill them out a little more with some rubber.

I've only had experience with Bushwackers. How do these protect from rubbing paint?

They have the rubber trim in between the fender flare and body

I've seen that rub paint right off in less than a year. Double sided tape is your friend my friend! I would just hate to see such a nice truck have an issue with paint rubbing and eventually flaking off because of the flares

I should of took pics but with the factory flare it was rubbing the paint off when I took those off. I did add a couple pieces of 3m double side tape I had laying around. All is good here

I have a rough country 2.5 leveling kit on too. I'll be adding 33x12.50 with some 17x9 wheels once these tires go out. I rather burn these down for now and use them. Hell I paid for them with the truck lol
