Get paper maps! Never know when Navigation will try to make you go 1.5 hours backwards and around and a town when you don't need to. Happened to me on our last trip.

You might want to let CC company get a heads up where your going so they don't put a stop on your card thinking it was stolen.
Ditto on checking spare tire inflated

Figure out if you will need an oil change on the way and plan accordingly. If you have someone do a change in the warmer climate, don't let them fill your washer fluid with that 30° F stuff. It will freeze on your trip back.

If you're headed South on I-15 in to Vegas. I'm right on your way 100 miles No. of Vegas. (St. George, Ut) Holler out if you need anything.

Enjoy your trip.

Stop every couple hours. Get out and stretch your legs.

I always pack a tool kit, flashlight, jumpstarter, micro fiber towels and window cleaner as well as water and snacks. Don't forget to throw in a piece of 2"x6" in the bed in case you need to change a tire on side of road, put under jack for better support. Enjoy your Trip.
