There is no foam in there. Only other option is to replace the whole DOP and that means a lot of disassembly, which you hoped to avoid.

I'll keep you guys posted as to what the out come is. I am not concerned that I got a lemon and to be completely honest if they want to disassemble half the truck to fix it I will just live with it.

Ford won't compensate you. They will fix it if you let them. If you don't want it repaired, it should at least be sealed up to prevent water intrusion.
