I had a pair of D series mounted to the rear underside of my 2012 lariat for backup. Put them through 2winters here in Canada without 1 issue. Absolutely love them.

I did a little more research and from what I read around 2012 they redesigned all the seals on the lights and it sounds like it took care of the problem.

I have the Morimoto and am not impressed.
May give these a try!
