I'm also interested in the Goodyear UltraTerrain, It looks like a pretty good tire as well.

Ridge Grapplers, absolutely. I was in Canada 2 weeks ago, and they just devoured the snow. Love these tires.

It’s not an annoying hum. It’s like background noise. I cruise 75mph and the hum is there but very faint.

Running 295/55/20 E

I'm running 35-12.50-20. They will rub. You have to use a porta power to push back crash bars. Love the ridge graps. I've been running BFG for 20 years and switched. A little more road noise but not much.

I'll second this as tires you should consider. Similar to the RG's but cheaper. Great traction in all conditions. I came out from my property down my rough half mile access path in 16" of heavy, wet snow without spinning a tire in 4H. Forgot to turn on the e-locker!

I paid 205 at discount tire for my p-rated ridge grapplers. I noticed discount just raised the price to 233 a tire for the P rated and 290 for the E-rated. I'm going to try the fallen at3w next. I know people who have had a tough time getting there wildpeaks to balance.

Where'd you get them for $205 ea.?

I'm looking at getting 285/70-R18 and they are $320 ea. So I want to make sure they are what I want. Just torn between the KO2 or RG
Believe it or not the 295 was cheaper than the 285 at Discount Tire. I paid around 310 for mine.

I have the same size and I absolutely love these tires. I had KO2s before these and the Nitto far outperforms the BFG. Also, the KO2s are an all-terrain tire and the Ridge Grapplers are a hybrid tire (between all-terrain and a mud tire). The Ridge Grapplers are more aggressive than an all-terrain but not so much as to make a loud hum on the road. I love the handling and the aggressive look.

I have the same tires currently. I'm running 275 60 R20's. I highly recommend them so far. I've got about 8000 miles on my current set and i've put them through some test and they've performed well. I go to our family ranch in west texas(we have 9000 acres so plenty of terrain to drive over) about once a month from houston and they've handled dry caliche and limestone roads well, they handled mud much better than expected after 6 inches of rain, and they cruise down the highway nicely. I rarely needed four wheel drive in the mud situations. They also have minimal road noise for an all terrain. The price is nice as well. Doesn't snow much in Texas so I cant help you there.

Well, there goes $1200. Should have 4 x 285/70-R18 Ridge Grapplers in on Wednesday to replace these well worn stock Wranglers. I just might have to find a muddy place this weekend to break them in.
