I too would like PN confirmation. Thank you.

Here is what I used :

Taking power for switch illumination from the Power Sliding Window switch works fine - that's what I did too, but the switches won't be controlled by the dimmer.

If you want the illuminated switches to dim (and to match the OEM behavior) you need to take switch power from the Violet-Grey wire on the 25-pin connector at the front of the console.

Thanks for the idea, I was a little nervous about soldering on to the leads like that but definitely better than cutting factory wires. I also tapped that for the ground. For anyone whose nervous to try that it's really not that bad, took 15 minutes.

Id like to be able to run these switches only with the high beams, I know I'll need a relay to allow that and have the wiring figured out for it so that the switches only send power to the up fitter relays when the high beams are on. Only thing I need is the location of the high beam fuse, if there is one? I flipped through the book and couldn't find anything for the exterior light fuses. If not I guess I'll have to use a quick splice on the plug to the high beams which isnt preferred. Also, I don't have auto high beams.

Just to prevent any negative judgement, the only reason I want these tied into the high beams is so that I can turn the lights off quickly Incase of oncoming traffic, lots of deer where I live.

I added APA and LKA to my truck recently. While in FORSCAN I noticed I had a DTC set for the BCM: B109F:55-45

Livinitup checked it out and stated that it is because the security module in the console is not configured. That makes sense I guess because it is a brand new unit that came with the console. Note that this error will NOT set a Check Engine light or any other visual indicator. I do think that the security system in the truck is inoperative with it in this mode but have not tested it.

I am going to swap my old security module into the new console this morning and see if that clears the DTC.

A question for everyone who has installed a new console and who also uses FORSCAN: Have you checked to see if you have this same issue ?

EDIT - I did swap out the security module, did a DTC reset with FORSCAN and I now have no DTCs.

Ok, does anyone know the part number for this harness? I have a 2016 XLT Sport with the black interior, rear power window and moonroof. So I should need this console HC3Z-28519A58-LC, that harness, and what else?

I would still need to tap power and ground from somewhere up there correct?

there is a pdf in the thread that gives step by step instructions (with pics)that even a monkey like me was able to follow. Gives the complete part list.
