Discount tire wouldn't touch it either would my small town local tire guy both said it was too close to this sidewall. So plugged it is.. gives me an excuse to go up another tire size!

Personally I travel and camp in some really remote for off places and don't trust plugs/patches unless they're in the middle of the tire. I would replace this one tire then when you replace the whole set use it as a spare.

Plug the tire.
But, if you want to replace tires... replace ONLY 2 of them, not all 4!
