Default Removing the volume limit on Synch 3 unit

I have a 2107 F 150 Lariat, with the Synch 3 system. I have read that you can delete the volume limit on the head unit; my currently only goes to 30, I can see there's more on the volume level to go, but it stops at 30, which is not that loud.

Please advise if My Key is needed to be programmed to delete this, and how it's done. Thank you!

And they sound like crap, too much distortion. Could be the amp too.

I would love to know if this can be done on a 2014 as well, I can barely hear the radio with the windows down!
