Remove 4X4/FX4 Sticker

Has anyone removed the sticker on the bed? Pictures? I kept it on my last truck but always though a sticker took away from the rest of the truck. 50K and a sticker?

I might have photos in my build thread (see link in signature). I removed the FX4 sticker from the passenger side, but not the driver side, because I'm not committed to the idea. I might buy a replacement.

I'm glad I removed mine.

Took mine off.

Left mine on for the 1st year. Wish I'd have left them on now and I'm a no badge/sticker freak. I would think it depends on the color combo as well as some look better than others.

Either way they come off easily.

What do I need in order to remove these stickers

I just used my fingernail and pulled it off slowly. That's what I have done with all my trucks. I did pull it off in the summer so it was hot. May want to heat it up with a hair dryer or heat gun.

Heat the sticker up with a blow dryer and start peeling it off from a sharp edge/end. Keep the heat on the leading edge where it is peeling off. As it heats up the adhesive softens and the sticker peels off easily. You can remove any adhesive from the paint with naptha, which is better known as lighter fluid. I have never used it but have seen people post that WD40 also will remove the residue.

Didn't like the way the red in the FX4 clashes with the Ruby Red so I removed them. I just peeled them off and then used some Goof Off to remove any residue. Freaked out a bit afterwards when I googled its use on auto paint and read some horror stories so quickly went and did a hand wash but all was well. A citrus based cleaner like Goo Gone may be better. With some light heat you should only have the slightest residue to remove wnyaway.

I'm considering replacing them with some grey & black carbon fiber style FX4 stickers....

I don't like the red FX4 decal....
So I'm changing it to blue...
Also adding these emblems to the doors & tailgate.
Might do it tonight , will post pics when its done.
