Removable winch mount?
I am considering maybe getting a winch and store it in the bed, so would need a hidden mount for it in the front. Since I have RWD, would be nice to have JIC, you never know when something might happen, like someone in a 4x4 getting in a ditch and might need my help getting out. I don't want to spoil the looks of my plat if I can help it. Also discovered, no tow hooks? Well guess I should look for a set of black ones for it too. 35 years and never got stuck in snow, but you never know.

Winches need to be VERY well attached. I don't think there is any setup that wouldn't take you like 1/2 to an hour to set up if it was not connected. Not to mention the electrical connection. Also there is another thread today talking about a front hidden winch which you could add to 2014 and earlier. But it looks like there is nothing unobtrusive available for the 18s.

You're looking for a discreet front receiver plus a receiver-mounted winch cradle. I still don't think that setup is rated for a 10,000-lb pull, but it's the only thing I can think of that matches your requirements.

Well, looks like that receiver is only for superduty trucks, not listing the 150. One of the reasons I am looking to not have it mounted is due to the ecoboost intercooler, as it would block it. Power hookup wouldn't be hard, just use a detach like that used for a plow. It can be hidden behind the bumper.

With the winch on a cradle, you can also run QD 12V in parallel to the rear, so you can use the winch at either end. I just went the way of getting a winch bumper... still no winch yet, though.

Winches work just as well from the rear as from the front of the vehicle. Actually, remembering back, the times I needed my winch I wished it was on the back of the Jeep instead of the front. Run power to the back as mentioned above and use your rear receiver hitch!

I went the rear receiver mount route. My kid sank the Jeep up to the frame and it was either pay for an extraction or get a winch. Early morning run to Harbor Freight and a successful pull had the el' cheapo winch and bracket paying for itself after 1 day. No wiring needed. I just (right, wrong or indifferent) used a heavy duty set of jumper cables and got the job done.

That is actually the winch I had in mind too.
