Remote Start and LED Status Lights

Remote Start and LED Status Lights
I've been using the remote start every day when leaving the office. I've experimented with how far I can be away and still get the green light on the Key Fob showing that the autostart was successful. If I had to guess, I'd say it was about a 100 yards.
What I've found is that if I'm further away then that distance, I'll get the red light, however, the truck has actually started successfully when I finally get to it. It seems that the range of the signal to autostart the truck may be farther than the return signal for the LED light status.
Has anyone else come across this? Tomorrow I'll try my other remote.

Got fillings in you mouth? Hold transmitter up to your mouth on the side with fillings and it will work, where it didn't before. Try it. I was like WTF when it worked over and over for me. LMAO

One of my remotes definately works better than the other. I have experienced same as you with both remotes though. Starting from my desk at work I know it starts, but I get the red led on the FOB about 40% of the time.

It works if you put the remote under your chin. You get more range, don't ask me why but I've tested a number of time. Just hold the remote under you chin and hit the buttons.

I think if you put it in a brown paper bag and flap your arms like a chicken it works best.
