Well I am back with the new engine. But there seems to be an issue with the remote start. It won't start the truck. When I hit the lock and start twice I get 3 red blinks on the fob. Dealer says bring it over but will take a day to look at. I checked the cluster and the remote start setting is checked. Is there a procedure to "relearn" the process.

Start the truck and see if there is a CEL, steady or flashing. I found out a CEL, even for emissions, will prevent remote start.

 

Also make sure you are not low on fuel.
