Question regular cab 2016 fx4 xl

I think I have a "misbuild." but I am happy with it... heres what I got:

2016 f150 "XL" 2.7 regular cab 6.5 bed. however it came with the FX4 stickers and package? it has...

XL- floor, emblems, price $

FX4- off road package (skid plates as well), USB outlet, power windows, painted bumpers, rear locking diff, etc.

is this weird?

I've been called weird. Yours is identical to mine which I special ordered. The only difference I can see is yours has the factory step boards. I'm pleased with mine so far. Are your tires the 245 or 265 width?

Default regular cab 2016 fx4 xl

Regular cabs are great...specially the 2.7... benifit of honda civic gas mileage if ya baby it and when you need to get up and go...it certainly does

The FX4 package is an off-road package that includes- Electronic Locking Rear Axle, Hill Descent Control, Off-road tuned shock absorbers, and skid plates covering the fuel tank, transfer case and front differential.

Nice truck! Congrats.

FX4 is not a trim level any more, it's an off road option that is available on all trim levels from XL to platinum.

So you can have an XL trim level truck with the FX4 package.

My Boss is an FX4, but with the wonderful Five-Oh!

Found it on a lot, not a special order.

They are pretty rare. Some refer to mine as a Unicorn. Mine has the 265 shoes.

I have a 2018 F150 Regular Cab XL 2.7 with the Fx4 package and stickers. The Fx4 is an equipment package now and not a trim level. An XL Regular Cab with the Fx4 package is quite rare though. I've not seen one in real life besides mine but I saw them online. I bought it off the lot and did not special order.

Yours is not a mis-build at all. Very similar to my truck which I did order since I could not find what I wanted. I always "look" at F150s but regular cabs turn my head.
