Default Regretting your wheel and tire setup with your level?

After weeks of research and thought, I think I've made my decision. But before I place the order I want to ask if anyone regrets the setup they went with.

Did you get 20's but think your tires are too small? Did you get 18's but wish you got 20's? Etc.

I'm looking to go with about a 2.5" level with 2.5 rear block and 18x9 +18 with 295/70r18. I have a 2016 F150 Lariat FX4. Thanks in advance for any and all feedback.

  1. I’m going with essentially the same setup. Just a +1 offset and the Halo 3in loft. Can’t wait!!!

Right on. I'm going with Halo as well. I thought about a higher offset and adding fender flares too, but cost and the fact that a higher offset would likely result in more rub were the deciding factors in ditching that plan.

This is a tough choice, lol

No regrets here Went 20x9.5 =15mm with 275/65/20 Toyo's. My son went 18x9 +1mm with 275/70/18 and they both look awesome

The 295/70/18 tires at 34 inches fit better on the 3 in lifts than the 35s and I think look just as good.

Thanks for the pictures! Trucks look great. I think the offset can sometimes be hard to judge from pictures alone. How much poke out would you say the +1 has in person?

I have to agree. I recently installed a set of Nitto Terra Grappler G2 LT295/70R18E tires on the OEM 18"x7.5" wheels with only a 2.25" ReadyLift Leveling Kit on one of our fleet vehicles and they look and fit great - absolutely no trimming required and they don't rub.

For those on a budget, this is a great combination.

The BFG's stick out about 3/4 to an inch. Ill try to find a pick of the profile of his truck and post it.

i have moto metal 907s +18 offset and 305x55x20. 2" level they fit fine with no issues. when these wear out im going with 35's next time. I was gun shy about getting a bigger tire because of the mixed reviews ive read. there is enough room for 35's, maybe spread the crash bars some, but i doubt it.
