Long live the Supercab, we don't need no stinking B pillars.

Hopefully the fix won't need any parts so guys can get it fixed quickly.

Supercabs are under the recall, see post 5.

I'm leaving my fire extinguisher under my seat. I don't trust a Ford fix with duct tape.

Yep, just received the Recall from my FORDPASS APP that my 2018 Lariat has a recall notice Called "Carpet Shielding and Insulation Rework" It was built in Dearborn. Crap! This should be painless but with my Local Ford dealer service center who knows and I'm sure after repair I'll have a scratched up interior and of course, they didn't make those marks.

I will bet my last dollar that dealers will be fixing stock trucks before they fix customer units. With a 80 day supply there are probably ~100K trucks on dealers lots. At an hour a piece with locally sourced parts, I would not expect an existing owner to get these fixed anytime soon.

Let them practice on those trucks. I never want to be one of the first to get a recall fix until the techs have a few under their belt.

Directly from the dealer bulletin:

"Dealers are to prioritize repairs of customer vehicles over repairs of new and used vehicle inventory."

I came here hoping to find that you knew something, thanks. With the information you have, do you see anything concerning about what they are doing? Is it straight forward or is there an elevated risk of a tech screwing it up? Also, I have wires running through the door sills (coax, power, signal, etc.) should I be concerned about those or provide the tech additional information about what they are/where to disconnect them?
