They come from the factory installed. My 2017 has them. A dealer should have no issue adding them

I think you mean dealer installed, not factory installed - right? My 2017 didn't come with them. I installed Husky liners and am pleased. Before and after pictures:

No they come from the factory that way. It is an option. You have to select it if you order it. They can be installed installed by the dealer as well after. I ordered it and it shows on my window sticker and it was installed right at the factory because I was at the dealer when it showed up. The only prep they did was wash it and remove protective shipping stuff and I took it home the next day.

Thanks for that clarification. I bought my truck from dealer inventory and didn't think about the wheel liners until later. No biggy and easy to install without removing the wheels.

"Coming from the factory" is associated with being standard. Liners are not. They are an accessory. But like most of us, I believe they should be.

They look good. And I'm assuming they help prevent the "what the hell was that" effect when your tire picks up a rock.
