Default Rear sway bar

Has anyone put a rear sway bar on their truck? If so, is it worth it?

Thanks!

Yes, they work very well. Before you install, it would be a good time to either paint the parts better or powdercoat them better before you do the job. I have installed the rear bar on 4 trucks now.

I looked at the Hellwig and Belltech. The Belltech paint looks marginal and you have to drill a 17/32 hole in the truck. Too much work for me. Sounds like the Hellwig maybe the winner.

Absolutely.

I put on Hellwig rear sway bar. So much better now.

Helwig. The bar itself holds up fairly well to salt and corrosion. The other parts need a good coat of clear or really good paint. Look good at first, but their paint process is not the best. Repaint while the job is easy and before install. Use all of the silicone gease also to avoid squeaks from the rubber bushings. Install is easy, maybe 30 minutes. Hardest part is fishing the plates with the wires on them into the frame holes to mount the front u-brackets.

I added a hellwig. Incredible change, very noticeable. felt like I was on rails immediately.

Big improvement towing as well. really locked that rear end in

Yes and yes, added a Hellwig and as others have said, it's (I did the rear only) a very noticeable difference.
