The rear end looks the like the rear end that was in my 2016 SC, 2.7, 3.55 e-locker. Anyone have a pic of a 9.75?

Not the best picture, but they also have a white tag on the passenger side with 9.75 printed on it.

The 8.8 is round, symmetrical.

The 9.75 is asymmetrical.

Not always true. My 19 2.7 has the E locker 3.73 8.8. Despite not having a tow package or payload package, it still got the HD frame though so who knows these days what gets what.

In preparation for ordering a 2.7 with a 3.73 locking I wanted to see examples; found a bunch of XLs on the lot without tow packages, payload packages, etc. but with locking 3.73s in 8.8s. Though moment to moment anything can change in production, I guess.

Only 3.5's, and 5.0's (only with the 3.73 E-locker option) are guaranteed to come with the 9.75" axle.

I think you can add the MaxTow package to the '9.75" axle guarantee' , since my 3.5EB truck (and several others) has it with 3.55 gears.
