Default Whoa!!

Man oh man....jumped in the truck(leveled it 3days ago) threw it in reverse, and BAM!! Steering System Malfunction, and I lost all power steering

Shut her down, turned her back over and all is well. Drive home *Knock on Wood* no issues ....Any ideas?

Got the cam bolts installed and alignment all taken care of. Put about 3k on it and no complaints. I’m happy we left the pre load spacers out as my angles seem fine and I’m clearing almost a 35” for a modest yet more aggressive stance with a slight rake. Still might upgrade the shocks/struts down the road but we’ll see. Had my cam bolts installed and alignment done at a RL Pro installer shop and they checked everything out (as instructed by RL) - all looked good and cam bolts were needed. Honestly - next time I’ll prob go with a true 4” lift.

Are there any negatives of adding this to a 2010 2wd such as added strain to what?

Thanks in advance!

Truck drives and handles better than it di with the leveling kit, well at least that is how I feel. First pic is when I did the leveling kit an the others are after the full 6 inch lift.

what lift kit did you end up going with? I am considering a 6 inch BDS coilover for my 2wd

I was ready to pull the trigger and purchase this lift kit until I had an opportunity first hand to see the CV Joint and tie-rod angles. I just couldn't bring myself to make the purchase based on the severity of the front steering & CV Joint angles.

Note: I'm not disputing how others have described the geometry of the components but I didn't feel comfortable installing.

Which year FX4 do you have? Seriously considering this SST lift, but not if it means no 4 wheel drive.
