Well that may be true for some 5.0 owners, but to lump us all together is ignorant. Congrats to the OP for the 200K with no issues. Seems 200K may be the new 100K!!

Just full synthetic oil every 10k miles,changed plugs at 100k I changed all the fluids at around 150k..I might change the plugs again soon

What did you do? Put that thing on jack stands, set the cruise at 80, and go in the house for a couple of years? Congrats you had great luck with your truck.

^^^I quoted a post about saying 5.0 owners think ecos dont last. There was no joke made and nothing went over my head. I am glad the OP got to 200K without any major issues. Maybe this will stop some of the ignorant 5.0 vs eco threads that start up daily.

Just wondering what are is your truck predominantly used? Hot, Cold and towing etc? Just wondering which weight synthetic oil you have been using as I've heard the 0w20 recommended in Florida is too thin?
