Default Raptor wheel/tires 34.5" installed on stock 4x4

Hey guys, just wanted to post up some photos of what the Raptor forged wheels and factory BFGs look like on a stock ride height 4x4/FX4.

I bashed the front crash bars up with a 10 pound sledge and got a little bit of room on the driver's side. Passenger side didn't move much.

Under normal driving conditions it doesn't rub, but at weird angles like going up into a driveway or braking while turning near-lock I get some light rubbing. Ultimately I plan to install a leveling kit, but for now this is really not too bad at all.

Awesome! It looks great. I'd have imagined more rubbing than you report but not too bad considering it's all stock. Love the look of the Raptor wheel and tire combo. Do you happen to know the offset of the Raptor wheels?

Thanks dude. I belive they are 17x8.5 +34mm. They definitely are more flush with the fenders than stock, which is what aids the clearance I think.

I didn't note it, but the inner portion of my mud flaps did have to pay the ultimate price for the sake of clearance. :P

Haha, I think the sacrifice is worth the look. Great job though, thanks for going out on a limb and trying it without a lift or level. It's good to know there is still some clearance for some beefier tires.

OK, I'll bring it up. A garage that clean is certainly evidence of a sick mind!!!!
Truck looks good, and so does that GT in your other post!!!!!

Forget the wheels, dang what a garage!

Love that floor. What kind/brand is it? Super!

Thanks @SPOAT and @JohnDay. Garage is FILTHY right now thanks to the two big trees in the driveway bombing the driveway with endless leaves. The flooring is RaceDeck Free Flow tiles in alloy. They make it so the garage floor is basically always clean. Any liquid, dust, small pebbles just fall to the bottom and get vacuumed up when I have time.

The only downside if you work in the space is you need to get jack stands with flat feet (IE not just 90 degree angle-iron with a sharp edge against the ground). I'm lucky to have an extra bay that I use for service which you can see through the opening in the first shot.

Here's a closer shot where you can see the design and texture better.

Cool! I thought it was asphalt tile at first. I see now, pretty easy on the feet and quiet I'd bet. I gotta get my act together in my barn, guys like you really make me look bad!!!
