Raptor bumper (and grille) are on my list of mods to do ASAP when I get my F150. The stock one just seems so... bulky. I know its for aero, but it just seems so out of place on a fun truck.

Putting a raptor styled bumper on lifts the truck off the ground for clearance (without making it any harder to get in/out) and makes it much more of a fun truck than a work truck, IMO.

Depends on the specific bumper. Some use a plastic cover over the radar units, but most are all metal.

Are the crash bars very visible if left in place after installing this bumper?

They are very noticeable with the Raptor style bumper. You will probably at least want the trim the ends since they almost stick out under the bumper
