Raptor shift Paddles on non-Raptor write-up

Hey all! New member here, and this is the first post at the F150forum. Also, this is the thread that got me interested to sign-up as I immediately realized I needed to make contact and order a harness.
I've read every post here in two sittings--the longest was today. Between posts 235 and 405 I've ordered a harness from @2016BoostedGreyGoose and have a shipping tracking number! How's that for responsiveness?!
One of the best mod threads I've seen in quite a while.
Having come from 11 1/2 years with a 6-speed manual Frontier, I once again find that an automatic transmission cannot shift as well as a human. I've learned to use the Sport and Tow modes and each has a nice feature, but none of these are perfect for daily driving. The manual mode comes close, but using the column shift rocker switch is not ideal. So, here come the paddles!
Will see you guys around the F150forum!

just got the raptor steering wheel installed on my 2018 Supercrew and it looks and feels amazing.
thank you 2016BoostedGreyGoose for the harness and all the support and hints for installation. it took me an hour because i could not get the airbag off.
the paddle shifting is soooo much fun. best upgrade.

Hoping not to sound to ignorant, but what is the “clockspring” ? I ordered a harness from BBG, and from a dealer, the raptor wheel and want to understand what I’m looking at.

Got my paddle shifters wired up today. First I need to say BGG is one hell of a good guy. Went over and above helping me out with mine not working. In the end it was my dummy mistake.
Second, this this is so much more fun to drive now.
Thanks again BGG

Having a weird issue. I got mine wired up yesterday and they were working fine. I park the truck and start driving this morning and they don’t work at all. I used t taps on the harness behind the glove box. Any clue what it could be?

I have a mod list a mile long and this is my favorite.
Best part was the service dept. that wanted to know how I'd done it/figured it out. I took the truck in because I thought the WW pump was broke and wanted to get it fixed before the warranty expired. Turns out it was just restricted (plugged) at the bottom of the reservoir tank. I just took it home and cleaned it out myself and now use it for about 15-20 seconds every time I wash the truck to keep it from happening again. I was told when the fluid sits for a very long time it can calcify on top of the screen and restrict it (which it did). Not sure I'd ever used it....
Aaanywayyyyy the tech that drove it back around to me wanted to know how I did it. Was amazed how truly interested they all were.
I'll just say thanks again.
Thanks again
