Bare with me, Quick Question.
(FYI, I have the newer harness from BGG for 2017)
When connecting the wires to C210 connector:
1) Do the wires need to be connected (soldered) to pins before fitting into C210 connector similar to how I connected wires at C226?
2) Can wires be placed into C210 connector without pins? Do they need an appropriate amount of wire exposed before going into the connector?

...Follow your instructions. There is a update for 2017 Trucks with floor shifters. The pin#s for the wires you are connecting to are different than the 2015-2016 F150 with the floor shifter. Refer to the included sheet.
You will need to connect them to the correct wires either by solder or other means like wire splices/vampire connectors etc. Thee 3 wires get connected to wires already in your truck, not into any of the empty cavities. lmk if this helps.

Thanks for the Reply BGG,
Yes I understand the updated sheet and where to put the wires.
(Up Shift Pin#8 Gray)
(Down Shift Pin#11 purple)
(SgnRtn Pin #16 Yellow)
My question is about making that connection between wire and connector. I'm assuming since no pins were attached to wires that I can just insert the wire into the appropriate number hole?

Sure is! Felt weird that I had to upshift with the floor shifter briefly. Had to wiggle the wires in the C210, and it worked again!

Oh man! Our 2016 Mustang GT has paddles and I used them more often than the brakes. I would LOVE to to this mod on our 2018 Lariat! When we drove the truck home the first time I looked over to my wife and said "OK, first gripe. No Paddles!" She rolled her eyes of course
