Hey guys awesome post and cheers to all who made this happen. I just ordered a steering wheel as I could not resist this wheel. I ordered my wheel with heated steering but my truck is not equipped with this feature. How would I make it functional? Would it require a trip to the dealer and some $$?

I was on the same boat, and made the paddle shifters work and the heated steering wheel work for some days now...

Look up heated steering wheel and there's a write up by Lucas8888 on a pdf file on what steps to undertake and what parts needed. It cost me~400cad for all the parts and wiring needed, plus a bit of Forscan reset.

Good luck! It's pricey but I think it's a great investment when you get to touch it 95% of the time in your truck!

Thanks for the reply, man that's a nice color you painted the steering wheel plastic. When paint did you use? Was it a can you bought off the shelf I could do myself?

Thanks!!! I just did it myself with spray cans off the shelves. I went with Duplicolor Color Match, but find shops that can color match your truck.
