Charge air cooler (intercooler)

Carbon- probably be easier for you to just run your own fans (probably be higher volume than the raptor ones anyway) on an ignition circuit.

Or methanol injection (far more effective) post-intercooler.

I wouldn't expect fans to provide any substantial cooling gain to the intercooler, but it would be interesting if you measured the differences (Assuming identical ambient conditions and driving)

Well that's interesting, considering the 1st Gen EB had issues with the CAC getting too cool causing condensation and water ingestion.

Feel like an aftermarket intercooler would benefit you 10x more than just adding fans to the stock intercooler.

too cool?
I'm not sure that's the issue causing condensation and water ingestion. I think it has more to do with the PCV system.

car mod enthusiasts have been striving for better and bigger intercoolers for better boost air temps for years....even purposely spraying intercoolers with co2, misting water in the intake tract (water/meth injection), etc.

air-to-air intercoolers are lucky to cool boosted air even close to ambient (it's usually a bit higher than ambient still)

ive done some substantial data logging and fiddly things over the past 2 years.. so far the best with simple mods and adjustments has been removing that stupid engine cover. I have a 2.7 and the way they designed it they have this huge coolant tubing run from the back of the engine to the front and its literally less then an inch away from the intake manifold. Removing that drops intake 15 degrees, then removing the shutters will get the intake and cac temps down to ambient. Then when doing wot runs cac temps do creep up but not by much. On a hot day say 90 cac temps will reach 114-120 degrees on wot runs
