So I'm back again to considering the Rancho's since I have a new truck. I had Bilstein 5100's set to 1.75 on my old 2015 and I loved them but I'm going to level the new 2018 ASAP so I can sell the wheels/tires from the 18 as new and put my nearly new Fuel Vapors and Ridge Grapplers back on. Has anyone had both the Rancho and Bilstein and can give a good comparison? 2015 was a 2.7 Sport and 2018 is a 5.0 FX4.

How much of a rake did you have after installing the Bilstein's at 1.75"?

the rears take about 15 minutes if you do them yourself. I did the fronts myself after being quoted anywhere from $300-$600. it took a while but I ran into an issue with the mounting holes not lining up. without the issue I probably could have done all 4 of them in about 2-3 hours. I had read as many issues with shops messing up the hubs as I had read individuals messing it up so if you hire someone to do it make sure they have done it before and know what they are doing. If you do it yourself read up on it. that gear in the hub is apparently really easy to mess up!

anyway that was a few months and a few thousand miles ago and I havent had any issues.
it raised my front end almost 3" and the truck is almost perfectly level now. I have all the shocks adjusted to 4 and really like the ride. All things considered I am satisfied

All you needed was a spring compressor to compress the spring just a little and you could have rotated the bottom of the shock to line it up.
