Default Rancho quicklift on 2015 RWD?

I have seen some sites claim the rancho quicklifts are for both 4wd and rwd models but the rancho site says 4wd only. I am thinking they would raise the 2wd more than 2.5" therefore there could be some angle issues. If my theory is true, would adding a 1-1.5 block in the back solve the issue? Anyone running the quicklifts in a 2015+ 2wd. On another note, be easy on me for the 2wd. It's my first post and first 2 wheeler. All of my other trucks (3) have been 4x4 but have only used it here in Florida 1-2 times. Thanks for any tips or pictures. If the ranchos are out I am thinking 5100 Bilsteins at or near the top with a 1" or no block. ????

Find some 4wd take off steering knuckles and replace your 2wd knuckles and you will be set. The quick lifts will add 2.5 inches to the stock 4wd height, which is already ~1.25 inches taller than your 2wd. I don't have he quicklifts but I put the 4wd knuckles on my 2wd when I put my bilstein 5100's at 2inches.

How much are you trying to lift the truck? Check out the max trac if you are trying to go 4.5 pretty quick and easy. I have rough country spacers and plan to upgrade and put the max trac spindle lift on my truck to get a little more lift. Sorry I cany comment on theranchos or bilsteins

Nothing wrong with lifting a 2wd truck... But the quicklifts are designed for 4wd only, they will physically have the same mounting, but the struts are actually longer. It will probably be at least 3" lift on the quicklift which might cause some issues with ball joints or the UCA could possibly hit the coil springs.

Installation is much easier with the quicklift since it is already compressed with the struts/springs but I would recommend doing the Eibach Pro-truck or Bilstein 5100s struts set on the top perch and add a 1" block depending on the rake.

If you replace the knuckles to correct the UCA angles at the same time then putting in taller struts are a piece of cake

So how much lift did you get with the 4wd spindles and struts?

The spindles don't give any lift, they are ~1.5" taller than the 2wd spindles which puts them the UCA's at the 4wd height. So when I put my 5100s at 2" setting, the UCAs are almost completely level and look factory. Basically 4wd height plus .75".

Default Thanks

Thanks guys this is great info. I am looking to achieve about 2.5 inches therefore leaning towards the Bilsteins with 1" block. I think that plus some nice 33s will look good for!

Honestly i'd just replace the front struts and be done with it unless you've got a buddy getting rid of some 4x4 spindles. I think the average for the Eibach and Bilstein 5100 is 2.25 on the top perch. should be close to where you want to be.

Is that with the 4x4 spindles?
