QuickLane is something that Ford dealers, who are independent from Ford, provide, and Ford advertises. There are thousands of Ford dealers. Nothing that any one dealer does has any bearing on any other dealer - so you should focus your energies on providing feedback, as suggested, to the Service Manager and then to the General Manager if needed. I would have not left the building without doing so.

As has been posted prior, dealers often use the least trained personnel to perform QuickLane functions, leaving the most trained personnel to perform the complicated work. This is as it should be - but you need to call them on it when there is a problem so it does not happen again.

Quick Lane here is a good one. I even had my wife take our '72 GTO there for service and inspection, she laid down the law to them, but they were really careful with the old classic.
I usually service the GTO but didn't time, car show season.

My biggest problem is there is no "Quick" in Quick Lane. Why should I drop my vehicle off to pick it up hours later when I can go to a pull through and have it completed in 15 minutes??

Warning to all 2.7 and probably the 2017 3.5 EB owners with auto start stop feature there is no Quick way to drain and refill oil. there is a procedure that must be followed [Ford special service memo SSM 45195] or you will end up with incomplete drain and over fill
I cannot see a fast lane or quick lube Jiffy lube etc taking the time and steps to do it right.

Thanks all for the feedback. I do plan on calling the service manager today and letting them know as well. Its good to see there are others who have found good service at a Quick Lane so I will for sure try another location.

Their process usually takes 20+ minutes once they begin, if they do it correctly. Depending on the number of bays and lube techs they have it's very easy to have that time take a couple of hours if they are busy enough. If you have a fast lube location you trust then why not.

Yeah, all of them around me ask to have it dropped off. My wife waited once for 2 hours 45 minutes. To me that is unacceptable. I have a quick lube place we've been using since 1999 with no issues (other than trying to sell me wipers and air filters at ridiculous markups!).
