Default Question reguarding fuses, need some help.

My son and I were trying to install some extra led interior lighting in his new 16 xlt and we are using an add a circuit fuse tap.

He wants the lights on a switched fuse to only come on with the ignition problem is every fuse we have is coming back hot and the lights are staying on.

Have tried the radio fuse, the moonroof fuse basically every fuse inside the cab that should be only on with the truck and the led lights are staying on.

I have the lights grounded well but I am out of ideas.

Fuse #35 (it's a 5 amp for the restraints module) is controlled by the key. That's what I added a fuse on to control my dash cam.

Thanks, that bottom left side seems to have done the trick, seems all the rest are hot, thanks so much.

We didn't try down that far

I'm actually looking for an always hot. Either a 5 or 10amp Micro2 ( not the 3 prong fuse ). Can you remember any that meet my requirements. I'm hardwiring my dash cam as it has its own internal voltage shutdown that I can set within the camera. Thankx.

I believe that fuse #32 stays hot all the time

great I'll start there. Looks like that one runs
Multi-function display. Global position system. Sync 1.Sync 2.And Radio frequency receiver. Have you ever dropped in an Add-a-circuit in a micro3 slot (three prong) that only has one side in use.

no I haven't, but since only one side is in use I wouldn't think it would be an issue.

I hope so cause I'd like to use the 10/11 fuse as its 5 amp. It's in the right spot for me. I'm going to test it as well for constant hot.
