I had a slightly similar experience on another vehicle. After I disconnected the battery, the car ran like ****. RPMs never got back to "normal" and shifts points were off. I disconnected the battery again. Same result. I figured the battery was going bad. Before taking it to the dealer, I disconnected the battery again and put it on a battery tender. Once fully charged, I reconnected the cables and went to a 20 min ride and it was back to normal. That happened 3yrs ago and its still on the same battery with no problems since.

Maybe you could try that or if not, try another dealer.

I have done this recently, and used the following you tube video. It's also in the manual I am told. Very easy.

Next time you disconnect the battery try touching the negative and positive cables together. I have been told this clears all of the "learned" memory.

Everything on this truck is learning and adaptive... trans, throttle, etc. Pull the battery cables and touch them for about 10 minutes as stated above. This clears all canbus memory and most of the electrical static from the system. Put them back together and go drive the out of it. It will relearn all the goodies.

does anyone know if doing this resets forscan settings that have been made like subwoofer settings, remote start settings.?
