Would seem to be a possibility, but no idea how to fix it based upon the wiring as I have it.

I'm going to tag along on this thread. I have BLIS and trailer detection. Everything is connected as directed, except I did not have a green-red wire below the dash- so I connected the red jumper wire from the orange wire to brown-red wire (in the same location as the green-red in Putco pictures).
Anyway, I am getting zip. No power- no signal, no break, no reverse.
Has anyone noticed the power wire on the 7-pin connector being any color other than orange? Any thoughts besides "you must have a loose connection somewhere"?
Thanks.

The relay or fuse for the power on the 7 pin isn't in place in the fuse box.

Does anyone know if this fixed mandrew13's issue?

This is the exact problem I am now having. If it did fix it, what kind of fuse is needed and where does this fuse go in the fuse box in truck?

I am beyond frustrated at this point. I have a 2018 F150 with LED Tail lights, Blind Spot Monitoring and Active Trailer assist. When I first installed the Putco light bar, I attached it to the 7 pin wires of the trailer hitch as per the RealTrucks video showed. All of the features of it worked great, however like many other posts I have found, I kept getting fault errors on the computer display panel on the dash. I then rewired it as the instructions that came with the light bar. When I attempted to attach the jumper wire under the dash, I inadvertently cut 3 wires when trying to attach it to the orange wire. At that point, I stopped and setup an appointment with my dealership to have the 3 wires fixed and connect the jumper wire. That cost me 230.00 bucks. Now that the jumper wire is attached the light bar still isn't working.

If the fuse works that would be assume, but if that doesn't work I have found posts that says to wire the Ground and Red wire into the tail light that is still installed into the 7 pin hitch. I think I have finally found the diagram that tells me what each wire does so I know which wires to attach the Ground and Red wire from the light bar.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve
