Put a Hi Lift jack mount in my '16 XLT SCrew today
Used 5/16 X 18 tpi fasteners, 1-1/2" long. Tapped the plates and used stainless jamb nuts. Had to shim the mount away from the Box Link plate so that some of the Hi Lift jack's mechanism cleared the bed sheetmetal... then had to flip the jack's orientation, so the shimming was for naught save for the fact that I did not have to cut the capscrew. A jambnut fits just between the Box Link plate and the bed side wall.

Haha! Steve! Well done, sir. And your installation looks as if it might have been a bit simpler... by virtue of an outfit's design whom had known what they were doing, do the engineering! Myself, on the other hand... hee! Oh well.
And while I'm here, a real nice feller in another thread had asked me, "What would you do with a hilift jack on a 150? You're certainly not going to jack it by the bumper. I don't think."
I replied, "I'm glad you asked. The bumpers on my truck are the last real bits of chrome on the truck and at some point over the next six months be swapped out for an offroad aftermarket bumper.
Meanwhile... and the main reason I wanted a Hi Lift was that it can also serve as a winch, a clamp or a mechanical "Jaws of Life". But until better bumpers, a hitch receiver, etc are installed on the truck, Hi Lift has accessories that, in an emergency, will serve to lift the truck by a wheel, or by the bumper. I have the bumper lift accessory already. Hi Lift jacks aren't just for Jeeps anymore."

Sheepherder's jack, yes, we still call them that, is a very handy tool not just for 4 wheeling but for around the farm/ranch too.
Saved me a few time wheeling in a LC FJ40 and FJ55 decades ago.

Seems I cannot access Edit on the first post after so much time has gone by, and photobucket now wants $399.99 per year to broadcast them... so I'll upload a few here to F150 dot com.
I first positioned the HiLift jeep aluminum mounts (for roll tubing) where they would best fit the Ford Box Link placement.

After marking the HiLift mounts placement I removed the Box Link plates. I drilled and tapped them for a 5/16 X 18 stainless button head cap screw.
