Question Pros/cons of leveling kits and cold air intakes

Looking for advice on wether or not to install a rough country leveling kit.

I'm worried about excessive wear and tear on the suspension or anything else. Anyone have good or bad experiences with these? Also looking for a good cold air intake that doesn't Require a tune.

Thanks in advance!

Looking to do the same but I've heard from couple people on here not to bother doing a cold air intake because the stock is good enough. As far as leveling kit. I am going to get my done at my local ford dealership so I have a warranty.

You already have a true cold air intake system - it came with the truck free!

A leveling kit will look great, but cost you about 1-2mpg, headlights will be aimed too high, and wheelie time if you plan to tow something with a lot of tongue weight. This is all before you change out to bigger tires if so planned?

No real wear and tear - front halfshafts will be at a much greater angle, but they only turn in 4wd. They are disconnected in 2wd.

the roush intake doesn't require a tune, but don't really expect any gains- some engine noise sure- maybe it'll make u think yours going faster

The level will not cost you 1-2 MPG but, the 35 inch mud tires may...

I installed a 1.5" level and 33" KO2s with less than .5mpg lost on my 5.0/4x4/3.31 truck. Speaking with mechanics at my local dealership, they said if you do less than 2" you probably won't damage the front end. I used the headlights as an excuse to buy the RAS kit for my back end, which pointed them back down to a reasonable level and improved handling quite a bit.

I went with the Auto Spring 1-1/2" front and 3/4" larger block in the rear to keep a little front rake. The fronts are offset so they help the half shaft angles and it's all steel and Made in USA.

Rough Country level kits are good, really hard to mess up a leveling kit unless its just too big or made with crappy material. I run the Rough Country 2.5" kit and have had zero issues.

Stock intake already is a CAI. I "upgraded" mine to K&N intake and the gains are negligible, its just really loud.
