Snow slammer

I have a 2016 Platinum with the Trailer backing assist. I entered the first trailer and it worked fine. I am attempting to enter a smaller utility trailer and it accepts the 4 measurements and confirms they are saved and then reverts to the first trailer measurements. I have even tried deleting the first trailer but the measurements remain. Totally flummoxed.

You have to create a new trailer in the trailer list. I have PTBA set on my 23' Airstream and on my 6' utility trailer. They are listed separately in the trailer list.

After that, you just select which trailer you are using.

Do you really need it? I guess some people do. It make backing trailers more difficult in my opinion.

I neither need it nor use it for my Airstream. I set it up for my wife in case she ever has to back the trailer for some reason. She has dyslexia and can't manage it with just mirrors. For the utility trailer, I absolutely HAVE to use it. I can't see the trailer in the mirrors. If you can't see the trailer, you can't back it.
