No that’s gen 2, he is correct in that gen 3 Coyote is 5.031 liters.

Here is a good article, the gen 3 Coyote V8 was upped to 5.031 liters and is rated at 460 Horsepower and 420 FT LBS.

Lincoln the flagship Ford = No V8, The Mustang will probably keep a V8 but good bet it will derive
into a V8 not suitable for a F150. You have the F250 V8 which might be the only hope for a continued
V8 in a Truck. F150 will probably cease offering a V8.

GM will be more likely to keep a V8 in the half ton than Ford

Build a 4 liter v8 EcoBoost. Charge some stupid amount for it as an option for those with more money than sense. Make a detuned 3.8 version with 20 less hp for the masses (so the more money than sense people can still feel special) and then everyone can have their precious v8 sound with benefits of a boosted engine.
Have found that people who say, someone has more money than sense are people who have no money and not the goal to make any.
The poor cry me a river crowd, now if somehow the naysayers had a lump of cash dropped in those paws, they would be first in line to
buy one of those no common sense vehicles. LOL LOL

A V8 ecoboost in just about any form seems like the dream engine for any F150 enthusiast. Can’t think of a single time when the concept has been mentioned that it didn’t get a very warm response. Yet I also can’t think of a single instance of the slightest bit of rumor that such a thing has ever been considered. I mean, ford has HAD to at least explore the idea? Right?

Lincoln owners don't give a **** about V8 rumble, they want a smooth QUIET ride and they don't care how it's done, which is why there's no V8 in the Navi. Expedition owners tend to be women (from my observations) and most women don't care eother. Pickup owners are a different breed and will always want them. Think about it, how many modded F150s do you see on the road vs. modded Expeditions???

Agreed with you but at the same time Ford sells 10 times more F150s then Sexpos

Prediction, the V8 will limp into the next gen F150, then in the generation after that all the V's will stand for volts and the closest to a V8 you will get is if you park two of the by then low volume four banger hybrids next to each other as they will be the last hold out ICE's. As it is I would only own a V8 if I was going to supercharge it, forced induction or nothing. Now, if they offered a TT V8...

Yep, they have

Somewhere is an article with the actual engine. That was 6 years ago though.
