Default Power folding mirrors--- 2?

Hey guys, so I just pushed the button for the folding mirrors for the first time. Are they both supposed to fold in? Only my driver's side folded in. Is that odd?

Thanks.

Yeah, that's a little odd!

Mine have worked perfectly except . . . once I closed them manually. When I tried to open them with the power switch, I heard the gears turn and skip. I had to re-open them manually and then they closed normally with the power.

For the passenger mirror, can you hear a motor turning?

Did you hear any ticks or clunks from the passenger side mirror? The little "device" inside the mirror assembly that pulls the mirror in/out can sometimes get knocked out of line (ie: if the mirror gets folded in/out manually), and it will take a few times of triggering the mechanism for it to rotate back around to the correct position to operate the mirrors.

Thanks for the replies. That is exactly what it was. It may have been folded in manually at the dealer or something. I didn't hear any clicks or clunks. The mirror just didn't move at all. I went out and manually folded it in, then out, and it works perfectly now. Forum to the rescue again.
