Default Potential Deal, What Do You Guys Think?

Alright spent some time at the dealer today.
Trading in 2012 FX2 Eco SCrew. 99,000 miles in great shape
Potential purchasers is 2016 XLT SCrew White Sport Eco 3.5 4x4, 302a with tailgate step, 36 gallon tank and spray in bedliner. Please ask if more info needed. Sticker is 51,350. Dealer said Ford incentive brought it to 47,000. Dealer incentive brought it to 43,250. Trade allowance 19,000. I was at 40,000 and the 42,621 was the lowest they would go. Sticker 53,350 before Sport discount. Thanks for the help.Name: DE0E424B-645F-4972-82F4-DC88D206DC2D_zpsvvvy4dt3.jpg

sounds about right, I ordered a truck msrp was 51k about, invoice was 47k. current incentive and kickback brought it to 42.5k. but I wouldn't be trading in a 3 year old truck to get a new one.

I for sure would make the $600 admin fee go away.

Trading it in because it's at 99,000 miles. I love my truck, just hard because I put a lot of miles on them for work. I really appreciate everyone's input and tactics they use.

Lots of posts really getting good deals, xplan, etc. Paying $699 "admin" fee is not one of them. Relying on the dealer to tell you rebates vs requesting a Smart Vincent printout from the system is not another one - which will show you invoice...

a lot of times the dealerships will put the "incentives" into the trade value
that way the trade value looks higher and the loan value/negative equity looks lower - for banks approval

Considering the $700 "admin fee" they're offering you 7,400 off sticker. You don't even have to haggle to get an honest 10,000 off of that truck around here.

The only way that's not a blatant ripoff is if your trade is actually worth 16.

So what's wrong with your current truck? 99,000 is nothing these days. I have a truck with 175k on it, and still runs great.

i am one to sell before 100,000 on a vehicle also.... feels like when you hit 6 digits it becomes harder to sell and you will get less for it.... but with my current truck I want to keep for life (thats what i say now)
