Went from 20’s to 17’s and never looked back!

Looking to go with 285/70r17 I think. Currently stock rims and tires with Bilstein front (+2"). Rear also Bilstein 5100.

 

285/75 fit and look much better than 285/70

 

Good to know. I've read conflicting feedback on 285/75. I would like to run the stock wheels and don't want to rub. I don't do a lot of serious off-roading though. Just mostly fire roads and snow occasionally. I have see some guys/gals claim they fit 34s with no level. I wasn't so sure about all that. But after my level they look like they would be no problem (just on the surface without taking a deep dive into it). Does anyone know if I would need spacers with the stock wheels (offset)?

even though manufacturer specs say "34"" both the bfg and toyos I've had were 33"-33.25" brand new mounted on wheel and not on truck. 285/70 I had in the past measured 32".

 

This is 285/75 on a +12 offset, 2" level. With the factory wheels you would have plenty of room. It's when offset goes negative that people run into problems with fitment. You can see I didn't even have to remove the mud flaps.
