How can I tell if mine is pre August 1st build? I have been bugging my dealer to flash/upgrade my transmission for multiple visits. They keep claiming there was none, but I have the same hard shifts, especially in cold, and lugging because the damn thing is in too high of a gear. I guess this is a recent TSB, I will try again and let you know.

What were the symptoms that you were experiencing that warranted a wastegate replacement? I'm having an issue with studdering in 7,8,9,10 gears while the motor is under load. I'm thinking it's the wastegate, just need some confirmation. Took it to dealer and they blew me off.

Tech heard rattling and rough shifting after TSB and replaced. MUCH better and much quieter rattle (The 10 speed one, I think it may be because of TSB update )

I'll be taking mine in on Friday for the 1-3 lunge and the vibrating sound it makes when shifting at low RPMs. Hoping the TSB will help with this issues.

So it list .3hrs, but what would the dealer charge you to apply the update? Our local dealers are a joke, so they will refuse to do it under warranty. Should i expect them to round it up to an hour? I would pay an hour labor to get rid of the cold 1-3 slam and 1-3 lunge.

Print the TSB and take it with you. Tell the service manager you have those symptoms. Don't pay a penny. If they don't do it call Ford customer service.

Sadly i can't get them to fix my grinding IWE (again..) that is far enough gone to take out 4wd, so im not holding much hope for a TSB for something non critical. My last call to customer service was 45 min of on hold and "if the dealer says there is nothing wrong, there is nothing wrong". That 1-3 lunge about throws me out into the road unless i jump on the brakes daily with how our parking lot is set up, i would love to have that gone.

Well one refuses to do it unless they can duplicate it (same one that will not fix the bad IWE) and the other wants $100.

Can yall let me know if you have the same issue I'm having in the attached a video with the 10 speed? I'm hoping this TSB can fix it and the 1-3 lunge. I have an appointment Friday morning to take it in. It struggles to shift and makes a vibration sound when it does.
