Default Pop-up after 3.0 update

So, I finally got the v3.0 update installed. However, now I get a pop-up every time I start the truck.
I have turned off WiFi. I have turned off auto-update. Basically, I have disabled pretty much everything that could trigger the message but still get the pop-up that has to be touched to go away.

Disconnect from your home wi-fi network then reconnect to it.

+1 for this. I did the factory re-boot then added my home's wifi.

The only way I got rid of this message was to do a factory reset on the Sync 3 after the 3.0 update. I did not add my Wi-Fi or enable auto updates again. So far I have not seen this message again.

I was able to get rid of it by simply disabling auto updates and Wifi I believe. I did not do a factory reset and have not seen the pop up since.

I did the same and it still kept popping up.

Pops up for me too. I thought I remembered reading this was intentional on Ford's part (location data?), but will try the factory reset mentioned and see if that turns if off. FWIW I have both wifi and auto updates already disabled.

I did all of the recommended cures for the problem. The only thing that worked for me was the master reset.

I called the customer service number for them and they walked me through disabling step by step.
