Default poor man ambient leds...

searched to see if any 15/16's have had pic's of the console apart...very limited...so I took a few of my teardown...
some may remember me doing this idea to my 13...so here it is again on a 16...
so the first pics are dash coming apart...only a couple 7mm bolts/t-20's hold things together the rest is the little pressure fit clips....watch them they come off and go flying somewhere to the land beyond...lost 2 so far.but if I pull the rest apart someday they will be found....

the sync door has some wiring for the light alittle of a pain to fish down and unplug...

Would you mind sharing the steps to remove the panel under the steering wheel please?

TIA

just friction fit...once popped down there is a plastic hinge on it to fold it downward......
1st reach in under wheel and gently work it to pop the clips..once released it will just fold down on the hinge/plastic (red line)
