Awesome job. Thanks for all the pics. A few questions? What size LEDs did you use. I have been looking at 3mm & 5mm on eBay to this as well? Did you glue the LEDs after you installed them or just a tight fit? I think I may have to run a power supply under the carpet as I have the bench seat but that's easy knowing where to find a power source as you pointed out. Thanks again.

So you were able to wire them in series and not worry about any resistors? Guessing that is why you used 12 LEDS?

The bag shown above is marked as 12v LEDs. These would have a current limiting resistor built in to each assembly. So you would wire them in parallel (all reds together and all blacks together). Then run plus 12v to reds and common of 12v to the blacks.

Thanks for this post. Great write up and photos! I hate the dark cup holders on my '15 XLT, so this is going to happen. I might as well put some inside the console storage bin too. Is there any reason you went with red vs. blue LEDs?
