polish for Shadow Black

I use Meguiars as well... seems to do a great job, but don't get it on decals, moldings, rubber parts... shows up. I need to switch to a black wax to get the screw ups not to show up.

Hey rnall nice truck! I have the issue with wax on the decals, bed rails,.ect. Use mothers Back to Black trim cleaner then use back to black restorer. Seems To work. I did not use it the decals. I just make sure I get all the wax off the edges.(yes time consuming)
And bad ju ju never say anything about getting parts.... that would meant it wrecked it.

the black wax from Turtle Wax and Meguiars isn't anything special. It won't repair swirl marks, etc.
TW simply liquid wax with a black pigment in it. think the Meg. is a paste. Used it before.

I use griot's products and no complaints so far. Wash, clay bar, random orbital apply one coat sealant and another coat carnuba wax by hand. My old truck was magnetic and I did that routine once a year, with a black truck I'm thinking 2-3 times a year. I'm trying hard NOT to polish every scratch as soon as I see it...
