I've been thinking about wrapping my pillars too and already ordered vinyl off ebay. The link shows a template and looks pretty square. I'm wondering if it really is or if there's a slight curve to it and if you could provide some measurements.

My wife as a silhouette cutting machine and has been doing decals and such cut out of vinyl. If I had a good template I could have her cut out an exact fit rather than apply and trim. I figure it needs a bit of overlay to really wrap, but not sure how much and can't really judge based on a tape measure.

The tint shop took care of ordering the wrap material? Is that common product for such shops to have expertise with? Looks fantastic, and I want to do the same BADLY to my black platinum.

It's made by 3M which is the same company that they order tint and other products from I believe. So they just measured and ordered that specific design for me. (The carbon fiber).

And thank you!! I love the look still. Just have to make sure they have experience with wrapping and will back their work.

Mine has some bubbles in it, so gonna show the guy and see what he says. He did warn me it was a possibility.

Decided to do mine a little different since my heatgun decided to catch on fire while I was working on the grooves in the panel

Like it! Something to consider exposing the recessed rectangle. Having mine done next week - thought about giving it ago myself though. How did you cut the lettering? Just hand cut? Did you use any cut tape of any form?
