Yep. I replaced my first set of "junk lug nuts" on my 1991 Jeep Cherokee XJ.

Just based on statistics, you would need 3 times more customers to have problems with a Honda Civic to get equal amounts of bad press.

Edited to add...El Comandante posts nothing but negative stuff about modern Ford's while driving a $1,000 old 2v 5.4. The rest of us have owned multiple modern vehicles and been perfectly happy. Do I still like the old stuff? Yes, but I also appreciate getting 50% better fuel mileage along with DOUBLE the power.
LMAO. You’ll never get 200k trouble free miles from these F150s. Just read the threads don’t take my word for it.

I own a 2016 Explorer w natural aspirated V6. W 40k trouble free miles.

A 1992 BMW 735i w 295,xxx original owner. Original tranny, engine etc. enjoy your payments on your depreciating truck.

Is that ticking I hear in your driveway? Hahahaha

what an idiotic post this is, you don’t have a clue what you spew...I know fleet new F150s that get pounded and have 200k miles with NO serious issues, brakes, tires, muffler...that’s it.
As for your comment on the depreciating truck, I didn’t buy my new KR or my past trucks as an investment.. and I don’t have payments either

Ticking would be the 5.0. Need to get your motors straight. One of my good friends owns a property maintenance company. 280,500 miles on his Platinum F150 3.5 EB. 80% of those miles were while towing a trailer.

Take care of your stuff and it will usually take care of you. That being said, I had a 2008 5.4 F150 with timing chain rattle. ALL years are hit or miss.

Dont know what your options are - bought my loaded up Platinum for 56.5 end of last May; just rebates no PCO.

there are tons of high mileage 5.0 f150s out there ...some tick most don’t...just like the issues with some eco boost engines, or Gm v8s or Ram v8s or ANY brand on the road

Agreed. ‘17 and back are pretty darn good on average. ‘18+ seems to be another story that will take more time to tell.

You know, I was going to write a retort... but then I read far enough to determine that you own not just a BMW, but a *vintage* (ish) BMW. I bet my F150 works better than your turn signals!

SMH, bragging about a Bring More Work. And yet, there is a thread with an F150 that is pushing well past 200K miles and going strong. My poor ol, soon to fail 3.5EB is getting 21 MPG. I'm sure I can eek out a few hundred K before someone else owns it. Had my first EB in 2010, have had quite a few, none had problems, all ran good.

Love my Platinum!
