Can I install a 4ohm tweeter instead? Will it be much louder and mess up the sound stage? Thanks

A 4ohm speaker would draw more power and would probably be louder.

Why does ford made the pillar speakers 8 ohm and door speakers 4 ohm? It's hard to find 8ohm tweeters though. I may just get coaxial for doors without changing the pillar tweeters. I hope it will not be too much high frequency either.

For those who did it that way, any difference or distortions?

why not replace with a proper 6.5'' component set. mounting a 6.5 is easy in our doors and most aftermarket tweeters will fit in our A pillars
